Learn how to make the best crispy on the outside and chewy in the center chocolate chip cookies. After making these, you will feel like you have mastered the chocolate chip cookie and will no longer need to search for the best.

Ingredients
- Flour: All-purpose flour will work best for this recipe.
- Sugar: Any brand of sugar will work.
- Brown Sugar: Any brand of brown sugar will work.
- Vanilla Extract: A small dash of vanilla extract adds a bit of sweetness.
- Eggs: The binder that holds everything together.
- Baking Soda: This helps the cookies rise.
- Chocolate Chips: Any type of chocolate chips will work. You can also completely change what is added to it! Add Reeses Pieces if you want!
- Salt: Perfect addition to balance the sweetness.
- Butter: I use salted butter but if you need to lower the sodium I recommend using unsalted butter.
Pro-Tips
- DO NOT melt the butter, wait for it to become room temperature before trying to cream the butter in the mixer.
- DO NOT over-mix at any stage of prep.
- I know it sounds weird but when the the cookies come out of the oven, smack the baking sheet against the counter to "flatten" the cookies.
- Measure all ingredients according to instructions.
Storage
In the fridge: Will last up to a week in the fridge.
In the freezer: Will last a rather long time, they will be eaten before any could think about expiring.

Learn how to make the best crispy on the outside and chewy in the center chocolate chip cookies. After making these, you will feel like you have mastered the chocolate chip cookie and will no longer need to search for the best.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks room temperature salted butter
- 375g all-purpose flour
- 200g granulated sugar
- 200g brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream butter in the stand mixer until like the picture below.

3. Mix the sugar and brown sugar together then add to the butter until fully combined.

4. Add eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined. It will look split but the flour will combine the rest.
5. Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix slightly. Then add all at once to the cookie dough. Pulse the mixer a few times to prevent the flour from flying out but as soon as some areas look slightly mixed, stop mixing and fold in the chocolate chips.

6. Bake the cookies for roughly 11 minutes and 30 seconds. Time will need to be adjusted based on the power your oven has.
7. Once the edges look down and the center is only slightly gooey, pull out of the oven and smack onto the counter to flatten the cookies.
8. Allow the cookies to rest and Enjoy!
